Library Guide to Data
What are Data Resources?
Often we use statistics created by organizations or researchers to enhance our essays and research papers. However, there are times when aggregate statistics are not available for a particular topic or we may want to reach different levels of geography, or greater detail than a particular statistical aggregate will supply. Then, we may benefit from using data..the microdata that is collected when the survey occurs. Using data requires a statistical program such as SPSS or SAS, or, for University students in Ontario, the Odesi platform, all of which help to create statistics from data.
