		ACM Digital Library Connect to ACM The ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) DL includes the full text of every article published by the ACM.
		Alt Health Watch Connect via EBSCOhost Focuses on complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. Provides full text for articles from more than 140 international reports, many of which are peer-reviewed.
		American Society of Microbiology (ASM) Connect to ASM Journals Collection of 11 journals focusing on bacteriology, virology, immunology and various other topics related to microbiology

		Arts and Humanities Citation Index Connect via ISI Web of Science Provides indexing and abstracts for arts and humanities journal literature. 		ASME Connect to ASME Database of 25 journals published by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), the premier professional membership organization for more than 127,000 mechanical engineers and associated members worldwide. Current coverage is from 1990 to present.

		Auto Repair Reference Center Connect via EBSCOhost Auto Repair Reference Center contains information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles, with repair information for most vintage makes starting as far back as 1945. Database content includes drawings and step-by-step photographs; technical service bulletins & recalls issued by the original equipment vehicle manufacturer; wiring diagrams; New repair procedures and updates will also be added continuously. 		Clinical Pharmacology Connect via EBSCOhost Provides information on all U.S. prescription drugs, herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products, and new drugs.

		Communication Studies: A SAGE Full-Text Collection Connect via Scholarsportal Search A collection of 17 full text communications journals.
		Compendex Connect via Engineering Village Provides indexing to over 5,000 engineering journals, conferences and technical reports.
		Computer Science Index Connect to Computer Science Index Provides indexing and abstracting for journals and books in computer science. Covers over 670 titles with coverage beginning in the 1960s.
		Conference Board of Canada Connect to Conference Board of Canada Provides business research reports on risk management, corporate social responsibility, human resource management, leadership, public policy etc. as well as economic trends and indices (e.g. Consumer Confidence Index).
		CORA http://www.queensu.ca/cora/ The Canadian Opinion Research Archive is a collection of hundreds of commercial and independent surveys dating back to the 1970’s. Individuals conducting research for non-commercial purposes may be able to get access to CORA’s electronic holdings by requesting a password from the CORA manager. CORA is generally prohibited from sending raw data extracts from commercially produced datasets (CROP, Decima, Environics). CRIC (Centre for Research and Information on Canada) data are available for download.

		Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) Connect to DLI The DLI website lists survey data that is available to UOIT students from Statistics Canada. 		Energy Citations Database Connect to ECD Contains over 2.3 million energy related science citations collected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies since 1934, with over 209,000 available in full-text.
		Energy Technology Data Exchange World Energy Base Connect to ETDEWEB Produced by the member countries of the Energy Technology Data Exchange (ETDE), it contains over 4,140,000 citations to energy related literature.
		Environment Complete Connect to Environment Complete Provides indexing and abstracting for journals and books in the areas of agriculture, ecology, energy, water science, geography, pollution, natural resources and policy. 		ERIC Connect via EBSCOhost Connect via Scholarsportal Search Connect via Wison Web The ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) database is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. It provides extensive access to citations and/or full text of educational-related literature. It is made up of two parts: Resources in Education (RIE) and Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE). Together, they provide access to some 14,000 documents (conferences proceedings, government documents, theses, dissertations, reports, books, etc.), and over 20,000 journal articles per year.
		E-STAT Connect to E-Stat (click on “ACCEPT AND ENTER” on the welcome page) Statistics Canada's educational database including Census data and CANSIM (Canadian Socio-economic Information Management System). The Census provides a statistical portrait of Canada, and CANSIM provides observations at regular intervals on subjects such as labour, health, income, trade, education, manufacturing, and investment. ESTAT also provides access to publications from Statistics Canada which comment upon data retrieved from statistical surveys – i.e. highlighting economic trends, or giving overviews of crime rates across Canada.

		Google News Archive Connect to Google News Archive This digitalized collection contains The Ottawa Citizen back to 1890, Montreal Gazette back to 1866 as well as archives of the New York Times and many more.
		Google Scholar Connect to Google Scholar Google Scholar is a freely available search engine that links to a selection of resources from the full Google database and other information. Emphasizes scholarly information. Google Scholar searches for information from all subject areas, and is particularly strong in sciences and technology. Information is drawn from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities. The "cited by" links are especially useful for items not listed in Web of Science, the traditional citation index. Note: There are limits to searching Google Scholar and you may find better quality information through our other databases.

		Journal Citation Reports Connect via ISI Web of Knowledge Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is a tool that evaluates and compares journals using citation data. The JCR shows you which journals have the highest impact and are the most frequently cited in each field.
		JSTOR Connect to JSTOR Multidisciplinary database of over 450 full text e-journals from the very first issue of a journal to those published within the last 3-5 years i.e. no current volumes. JSTOR or Journal Storage is an archival database.

		Medieval Travel Writing Connect to Medieval Travel Writing Full-text primary and secondary materials (manuscripts, maps, bibliographies) relating to Medieval travel writing (both fact and fantasy). The journeys are primarily to the Holy Land, India and China.
		MEDLINE Connect via Ovid Connect via EBSCOhost Subject coverage includes medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, allied health, and pre-clinical sciences. Created by the U. S. National Library of Medicine, this database provides detailed indexing and abstracts for over 4,800 biomedical journals. Content also included in PubMed.
		Mergent Online Connect to Mergent Online Global company database including company data, annual reports, historical financials for US, Canadian, and International companies. Reports include business description, history, property, subsidiaries, officers and directors, long-term debt and capital stock. Financial statements are presented in "as-reported" form and in native currencies.
